I AM ABLE offers non-paid internships and field placements to undergraduate and graduate students in counseling, social work, criminal justice, psychology, and organizational development, just to name a few. Learning opportunities include conducting intake, assessments, treatment planning, case management, counseling/therapy, anger management, legislation advocacy, community outreach, wellness coaching, grant writing, quality assurance, school-based counseling, blogging, and tasks based on individualized interests.
