DUI RISK EDUCATION PROGRAM
I AM ABLE's Driving Under the Influence (DUI) program helps reduce the incidence and prevalence of substance/alcohol abuse and DUI offenses by providing clients with assessment, education, early intervention, counseling and treatment services. Services are provided based on client need.
ABLE's licensed substance abuse counselor has over 8 years of experience working with youth and adults in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. WE aim to help clients learn healthy ways of dealing with mental and emotional difficulties. particularly those clients who have or had issues with alcohol or substance use. I AM ABLE employs a holistic model to serve the mind, body, and spirit from a Harm Reduction Approach. We are able to provide our clients the best quality services at the most affordable prices in the whole Chicagoland area.
DUI Consultation provides the client with a glimpse of the Administrative Hearing process and sets clear expectations for the client. Clients are presented with potential questions that can be posed and how the interview is conducted. Clients are offered the best opportunity to get their driver's license back.
DUI evaluation is the first step in getting your license back for individuals seeking a reinstatement of their driver's privilege through the Illinois Secretary of State. An Assessment will be completed to determine the exact path to treatment and conquering addiction. Upon completion of the evaluation, a recommendation to the Secretary of State can be made to petition for driving privileges.
The four-week Early Intervention Program meets once a week to address abuse and addiction, the relationship with alcohol or other drugs, and establishes healthy coping skills necessary to avoid future substance related issues.
