Clinical Counseling
I AM ABLE has a team of compassionate and professional clinicians with a broad range of counseling experience and skills.

Counseling Services Available:
- Individuals (Adults 18 and over)
- Infants (birth - 5 years of age)
- Youth (6-12 years of age)
- Adolescents (13-17 years of age)
- Couples Counseling (pre-marital, married, cohabitating, other)
- Familiy Counseling (entire families, combinations of members, other)
Issues addressed in therapy, but not limited to:

All counseling services are offered in both English & Spanish
Payment for Services:
- There is no charge for families who are currently involved with DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services - Investigation, Intact Services, Placement Services, Guardianship and Post-Adoption). Documentation is required prior to services being rendered in order to confirm status with DCFS.
- For non-DCFS clients, a sliding fee scale is available. Cost per session is determined by gross annual household income.
- Please note that there is a fee of $35 for the initial intake assessment.
- Fees for subsequent counseling services is determined during the intake session.
- Please note that we do not accept the medical card for payment.
How to enroll in services:
- Contact intake coordinator at 773-826-2929 ext.211 to schedule an intake appointment.
- For Spanish speaking clients, contact 773-826-2929 ext.205.
- Intake appointments last approximately an hour and a half.
- All person whom will be receiving services need to be present.
- After intake, case will be placed in the waiting list.
- Waiting list is approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
